About Rikku's Theme
Rikku's Theme is a bright and cheery piece of music that plays in the background of the game FFX when Rikku is talking. It first appears, slightly modified, in track 15 of CD 1, "We Are Al Bhed" (aka the scene where Rikku and Tidus are conversing on the Al Bhed research ship). You hear it again, in it's purest form when Rikku joins Yuna's pilgrimage just outside Guadosalam. The theme does not play in its entirety anywhere in the game. You can only hear the complete tune on CD 2, Track 22 of the FFX Original Soundtrack.
Why Rikku's Theme?
It is a beautiful and uplifting tune that just makes you feel happy listening to it. It is unfortunately too often looked over next to the popular "Suteki da Ne", "To Zanarkand," "Otherworld," and "Someday the Dream Will End." (which are all wonderful tracks in their own right.) I also happen to be a big fan of the character it represents, that bubbly guardian, Rikku. Someone else already owns her fanlisting, so I figured the one for her theme was the next best thing. XD
