About Otherworld
Otherworld is the theme song that accompanies the opening FMV of Squaresoft's Role-Playing Game masterpiece, Final Fantasy X. It appears for the first and only time with lyrics very early in the game when Tidus is playing bitzball in Zanarkand. The instrumental track plays while you are fighting Braska's Final Aeon at the end. In a way, the song both opens and closes the action of this wonderful game. On the official soundtrack it is track 5 of CD 1.

Why Otherworld?
It is a rocking piece of music that is about the most upbeat of the Final Fantasy Themes. Unfortunately it seems too often overlooked next to the popular "Suteki da Ne", "Melodies of Life," "Eyes on Me," and "Aerith's Theme." (which are all wonderful songs in their own right.) I also happen to be a big fan of the characters it represents in the game, the hero, Tidus, and his mentor, the mysterious guardian, Sir Auron.
