About Auron's Theme
Auron's Theme is a haunting piece of music that plays in the background of the game FFX frequently when Auron is talking. It first appears, slightly modified, in track 7 of CD 1, "This is Your Story" (aka the scene where Auron and Tidus are sucked into Sin). You hear it again, in it's purest form when Auron and Tidus converse in Luca. The theme does not play in its entirety anywhere in the game. You can only hear the complete tune on CD 2, Track 12 of the FFX Original Soundtrack.
Why Auron's Theme?
It is a beautiful and eerie piece of music that is unfortunately too often looked over next to the popular "Suteki da Ne", "To Zanarkand," "Otherworld," and "Someday the Dream Will End." (which are all wonderful tracks in their own right.) I also happen to be a big fan of the character it represents, that mysterious guardian, Sir Auron. I missed out on owning his fanlisting, so I figured the one for his theme was the next best thing. XD
